Miss Chow's

Had dinner here with friends. Food was good. I had the Ho Fun with seafood quite nice. Bf ordered Hor Fun with beef but instead he got Kwai Teow which is a different dish but still good... Others ordered the ribs, sweet and sour pork, pork buns. The dumplings we had for starters were okay and the spring rolls had a mashed potatoey/ cabbagey texture which I didn't really like. Service was good but could be better. It was quite expensive to eat here. If you order espresso martini they costs $18 but the next door pub sells it for $9. I can also order the same dishes with good quality in other Chinese restos. In saying that however, the Hor Fun here costed me $27 and it had fish, baby octopus, prawns, scallops which most of these you wouldn't find served in the usual Chinese restaurants where I can buy it for $13. The place looks great and I would definitely come back IF I earned a bit more.
